An unmissable opportunity to join our Business Studies and IT Department for September 2019.

An unmissable position has become available for a Teacher of IT and Computing who is able to teach across the Bicester Schools’ Campus, comprising The Bicester School and Bicester Technology Studio. The Bicester School has above average GCSE results and a positive progress 8 score and was graded as “Good” in all categories (Ofsted June 2018). The Bicester Technology Studio is only two years old and housed in modern buildings with a smaller student body.

The successful candidate will be someone with a passion for their subject and be able to deliver lessons that will inspire and engage our students, and who will actively assist in the further development of Computing within the School. You will join a committed, hardworking and friendly department who work closely together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students.  

IT is taught to all Key Stages. We are looking to increase the size, experience and knowledge of our IT and computing team through this appointment so that we can broaden the types of qualification offered at Key stages 4 and 5. In Key Stage 3 students follow a broad and challenging curriculum that provides the fundamental understanding of coding, e-safety and digital education.

Our Business Studies and IT Department has grown in strength with the current team and we are looking for a passionate and driven individual with strong interpersonal and team working skills contribute to the current teaching and learning strategies and develop their own teaching practice with our support. Your challenge will be to teach outstanding and interactive lessons, leading to high levels of student progress.
