The International School of Lausanne is an all-through, independent, international, mainstream educational establishment. It teaches boys and girls aged between three and 18 years old. The school is situated in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, in Switzerland. At the moment, there are around 880 pupils on the roll at the school. It was founded in 1962 and a lot of the parents of the children who attend the establishment work for businesses abroad in areas near the Swiss Riviera. The school allows the pupils to achieve the International Baccalaureate Diploma. The International School of Lausanne is a part of the Swiss Group of International Schools, which educates pupils in the diverse world they live within.

Values and Vision

International School of Lausanne aims to give the students an outstanding education with a well-balanced and enriching curriculum. There school wants the parents to have an active role in the academic lives of their children. There are more than 120 clubs and activities available for the students at the school. The hope is for the pupils to pursue their talents and take part in activities that interest them. They can participate in performing arts, like drama and music, sports, like football and hockey, and technology. The children will hopefully develop new skills from taking part in these clubs, including social, moral and physical ones. The hope is for the students to become enriched culturally from attending the establishment. Students can also attend activities with their families.
