The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Maths and Business Teams.  We are looking for someone who can inspire engagement in the classroom and capture the enthusiasm pupils have for learning Maths and Business. The successful applicant will be highly motivated to inspire pupils at all levels from ages 11-18. 

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities to join our passionate, hard-working and friendly Maths and Business Faculties:

• Suitable for ECT’s or Qualified Teacher Status

• A passion for excellence in the teaching of Maths and Business Studies

• The ability to maintain and raise standards of student attainment and achievement and to monitor and support student progress

• The ability to effectively lead, manage and motivate staff within the team and the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues;

• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

About St Alban's Catholic High School

St Alban’s Catholic High School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Ipswich, Suffolk. It is the only Catholic High School in the Ipswich area and religious education forms part of the core curriculum. 

The School premises have been improved in recent years with the addition of a new sixth form block and library and the refurbishment of some existing facilities.
