We are a proud member of a Lasallian family of over 1 million staff and students in 80 countries around the world.

The school is a wonderful place to work which is summed up in the opening lines of our most recent Ofsted report:

This school has an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness that helps pupils feel at ease. The strong, positive relationships between staff and pupils exemplify the school’s values.

We have high expectations of all of our staff who we challenge to be the best they can be, which in turn creates a passionate and positive family of staff. This is a school for those who share that passion combined with a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to developing young people.

Staff development is key to our ethos and our staff benefit from our outward looking approach, with strong external relationships to provide a high level of guidance and professional development for teachers and support staff at all stages of their careers. These links include being a PiXL school, an active member of the Archdiocese of Liverpool Secondary School Improvement Trust, part of the St Helens School Partnership Board, Association of St Helens Secondary Schools, North West Maths Hub as well as being a key partner in teacher training with Edge Hill, the Aspirational Teaching Alliance and Liverpool Hope University. Our ECT support is viewed as being a model for outstanding practice across the region.

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding teacher of Mathematics to join our team. The successful candidate should be able to teach GCSE level across the full ability range.

Our students are aspirational young people with active and supportive families. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in its pursuit of excellence.
