The successful applicant will be a qualified teacher or an ECT and should be able and willing, over time, to teach Mathematics from KS3 up to A Level standard. The Mathematics department is well resourced and the subject is mostly taught in sets. Pupils work towards the Edexcel GCSE in Mathematics with virtually all sitting the Higher Tier paper. We have recently redesigned the KS3 curriculum to offer greater challenge and faster progress whilst building the strong foundations necessary to begin the GCSE in year 9. In the Sixth form we offer A-Level Maths and Further Maths as well as teaching the subject at Higher and Standard Level in the IB.
