Teacher of Maths and Computer Science/ICT/Business Studies

Alleyne’s Academy is seeking to appoint a talented and inspirational teacher with the skills to teach GCSE Mathematics. There will also be the possibility of teaching A Level Mathematics for a suitably qualified candidate. You would join a highly successful Maths faculty whose progress this year was in the top 20% of all schools nationally. Progress and attainment in the faculty are both significantly above national, we are looking for a candidate who will maintain these very high standards. The successful candidate will also have the necessary expertise to contribute to teaching in our equally successful Business Studies and ICT Faculty. This faculty delivers Computer Science, ICT and Business Studies on a range of courses at both KS4 and KS5. Both of these faculties are high achieving, supportive and already have outstanding teachers, this is a fantastic opportunity for an NQT or a more experienced member of staff.

Interview lesson will be maths based.

Alleyne’s converted to an Academy in September 2013 and is a popular 13-18 comprehensive school judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in April 2016. The school is well-regarded within the community and has a reputation for high quality teaching.
