Job overview

We are a well-established residential SEMH special school. We have been judged as good (Ofsted 2015) and recognize the importance of a multi-professional approach to meeting young people's needs. Our ethos is to ensure students achieve their full potential, both academically, socially and emotionally; so they are fully prepared for the next phase of their lives. Through high challenge and high support we aim to provide the best learning experience so all at Notton House make progress and attain.

We are seeking an outstanding and creative practitioner to deliver an excellent learning experience for our students. We are committed to continued professional development on our journey to Outstanding. We have just become part of a Learn@MAT, the post could present an excellent stepping stone for future leadership opportunities.

The successful candidate will be a good to outstanding teacher of Maths with the flexibility to teach from KS3-5 (currently we teach a range from Entry Level to Functional Skills and GCSE accreditations at KS4). We want to inspire our students and help them understand the value an importance of becoming an independent and lifelong learner.

This is a permanent position required as soon as possible.
