Job overview

The Maths department at Manor Croft are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teacher to be part of their forward thinking and aspirational team. We are a department committed to ensuring all students within the school reach their uttermost potential and welcome ambitious candidates with the ability to enthuse and engage children in Maths lessons. Whether you are an NQT or an experienced teacher, we would love to hear from you.

It is a very exciting time for the academy as we have just celebrated for the second year running some of the best Maths results in the country. Maths headlines have improved at 4+ from 68% to a brilliant 83% and 5+ is currently at 67%. With progress at an unbelievable +1.05, it has been a truly transformational two years and the department is dedicated to ensuring these fantastic results continue to go from strength to strength.

We were visited by Ofsted in September 2017 and they judged the school to be ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ Leadership and Management. The Maths department and the leadership of Maths are a real strength within the academy.

However this is just the beginning! We are looking to improve on these results even further and this role presents a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional to help us achieve even more outstanding results. Please get in touch if you are looking to be part of an aspiring and ambitious Maths team, within a school committed to driving forward progress and investing within its staff.

We would welcome you to come and look round the academy and meet the Maths team. Please contact the Head of Maths, Abbie Nicoll on 07860556130 if you would like to arrange a visit or to chat about the position. We look forward to hearing from you!
