We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Maths + Engagement Lead to join our dedicated and professional Maths team.
The Engagement Lead will:
- Work closely with London Academy of Excellence, Tottenham, Chrysalis East, and Highgate school to ensure that we fully utilise all the Maths opportunities they can offer pupils including interventions, trips, and tutoring.
- Organise all these enrichment opportunities including the communications with pupils, parents/carers, and staff.
- Liaise closely with LAET and design bespoke activities for Park View pupils and staff.
- Organise and implement the UKMT Junior and intermediate Maths Challenges.
- Use Dynamic Progress Reporting data and SEF activities to monitor the progress and achievement of the higher attaining pupils across all year groups and use these to inform waver of Intervention strategies.
- Seek and research exciting new enrichment opportunities including external trips and internal visitors/speakers.
- Plan and deliver inspirational Maths assemblies to all year groups, in line with the assembly programme.
- Focus on groups of underachieving pupils and provide and monitor appropriate interventions, including enrichment.
