Teacher of Mathematics
Main Professional Scale or Upper Pay Scale
The Judd School is a high performing boys’ grammar school which is enriched by a mixed sixth form. Our 2015 Ofsted Report deemed us to be Outstanding in all areas. We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and enthusiastic NQT or established teacher to support the unique identity of our school.
We are currently advertising a Head of House position in school, which is available to candidates with pastoral experience who are also considering this role.
Our students pursue mathematics enthusiastically throughout the school; they enjoy taking mathematics to the very highest level. As a consequence, the majority of them take some form of maths at A level with our current numbers being around 50 further mathematicians and an additional 90 single mathematicians in year 12, with similar numbers in year 13
You would be part of a team of nine specialist teachers and you would be expected to teach single maths A level classes from day one. We would anticipate that a successful candidate would want to teach, or be trained to teach, further maths at some stage. There is no finer place to be teaching mathematics!
Further details are available on the school website www.judd.online, or alternatively please telephone Mrs Diane O'Grady, PA to the Headteacher on 01732 373550.
