Job overview

St Anne’s is a forward looking and over-subscribed school, where students’ attitudes and behaviour are outstanding, and where commitment to developing the distinctive Catholic nature of the school is evident. Here at St Anne's, we pride ourselves on our strong community ethos and work hard to ensure all staff feel a part of it.

We’re looking for a teacher whose passion for Maths is evident, and who has the energy to inspire, motivate and challenge students. With a positive attitude to staff and students alike, you’ll believe every child has the right to succeed.

If successful, you’ll be joining an experienced and dedicated Maths department who work collaboratively with each other and other departments, sharing their excellent practice. We offer a full induction programme, buddy scheme, and ongoing CPD - both in-house and away from the school.

Joining a very successful and supportive school, you will have access to trained staff mentors, a comprehensive induction programme and continuing professional development. Colleagues are supportive and there are good relationships between staff and students.

We recognise that our staff are the reason for our success, and as such have a range of rewards including end of term and ad hoc staff socials, fully equipped staff kitchens,

taxi service between the sites at break and lunch, local leisure benefits, parking, and mileage allowance (subject to Borough criteria).

If you’d like to join our community and share your subject expertise with our keen and interested students, please click the 'Quick Apply' button to complete our online application form.

Closing date: 10:00am on Thursday, 1st March 2018.

Interview date: from 8:30am on Tuesday, 5th March 2018.

We’ll let you know if you will be invited to interview by 9:00am on Friday, 2nd March 2018. Interviews will be at our Enfield site, and will involve teaching a 50-minute KS3 lesson on a topic to be given, written task, and tour of the lower site by students. At the end of this process there may be further shortlisting prior to interview with Headteacher, Subject Leader Maths and one other, to be confirmed.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and anyone applying to work in our school is expected to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
