Potential subject leader responsibility with TLR payment as appropriate.

Required for September 2018

Kents Hill Park School is a brand new ‘all-through’ school in Milton Keynes due to open to Years 3 and 7 in September 2018.

Part of the Kingsbridge Educational Trust, this is an outstanding and rare opportunity for excellent practitioners to play a key role in the development and growth of this exciting all-through school from its inception.

Initially teaching Year 7, the school and staff will grow rapidly. We are therefore looking for innovative, passionate and committed staff to develop subjects/areas and the pupils’ love of them from the very first day. Flexibility and the desire to take part in all aspects of the school will be required. This is a superb opportunity to help shape the future of the school.

Kents Hill Park School will provide outstanding facilities for the community it serves. The secondary phase will occupy its own site and accommodate up to 750 pupils. It will open with 120 children in September 2018 and the primary and nursery phases will complete this £27m build. Excellent conditions of service will be offered.

For an application pack, please contact the Trust by email at hr@ket.education. Alternatively, application forms and further details are available on the School and Trust websites: www.kentshillpark.school and www.ket.education

Closing date for applications is 3pm on Monday 29th January 2018

Interviews to be held: w/c 5th February 2018

Kingsbridge Educational Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this post prior to commencement.

Our vision is to develop an exceptional environment for learning that provides the very best opportunities and experiences for the children and families that we serve. We want our children to grow to live happy, healthy and productive lives in an inclusive and safe environment.

As part of Kingsbridge Educational Trust, Kents Hill Park School belongs to a group of high-performing and successful schools, where providing the very best in teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom is at the heart of what we do. The ‘all-through’ model allows us to do that for every pupil at each stage of their education.

Our ethos is based around traditional values and high expectations of behaviour and care, but we are developing systems and plans at the forefront of educational thinking. The staff that join us all share these beliefs and ambitions.

Kents Hill Park School opened in September 2018 with 120 Year 7 and 30 Year 3 pupils. We will continue to expand and develop to our capacity of 750 pupils at the secondary school and 330 at the primary school, alongside a 26 place nursery.
