Job overview

Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Maths to join a Academy based in Northamptonshire.

Do you want to be part of a team who are committed to working together to deliver opportunities for all no matter what background? Do you want to work at a school that has ‘high expectations of what pupils can achieve’ and school where pupils are, ‘polite and respectful and try hard in lessons.’

About the Academy

At the Academy they believe in choice not chance. Through a high-quality education they work to secure the best life opportunities for their students. They want them to be self-confident, respectful and resilient young people who can engage creatively with the world. By developing their academic knowledge and their problem-solving skills, they are enabled to progress to the next phase of education or into the world of work and training, empowering them to take their place in society.

Providing their young people access to quality education and enrichment experiences is what drives them. Their students benefit from a wealth of opportunities to develop, learn and lead. From the classroom, to cultural visits, sports, music and arts and engaging with their local communities, the rich and varied experiences they create help fuel ambition and unlock potential.

They have a strong sense of purpose and are fervently committed to the achievement of every individual. They aim to provide a high-quality education in a safe, happy, caring and focused environment. They encourage all students to embody their values of confidence, resilience, ambition, courage, respect and aspiration. They are intent on developing a love of learning amongst their students, offering them a broad and balanced curriculum, enhanced by a range of enrichment activities designed to support their personal growth. They encourage all students to take responsibility for their own learning.

They are ambitious for every child, no matter what their background, prior attainment or needs. They are very proud of their community and believe they offer something exciting for those who join them. Underpinned by their values of ambition and aspiration, respect and resilience, courage and gratitude, they are student focused. They have high expectations of their students and staff, and high aspirations for them.

They require, for a September 2024 start, an enthusiastic and highly committed person who will be an excellent Teacher of Maths.
