The Governing body are seeking to appoint a passionate Maths teacher to join an outstanding faculty. Applications are welcomed from NQTs and experienced candidates.
King’s is an 11-18 school that was founded on traditional values. The school is highly regarded and significantly oversubscribed. In the 2018 national performance tables, King's was ranked in the top 2% of schools in the North West.
The Maths faculty is forward thinking and has established a scholarly community, where innovative teachers develop talented students. The successful candidate will join a friendly team of nine individuals, who are committed to building on the department's historic success. The curriculum is innovative and knowledge based, with students from Year Seven up to Sixth Form genuinely enjoying their Maths lessons. Departmental schemes of work are of a very high standard and support teacher work life balance through minimal marking and modern pedagogy.
As a school we are unique in our approach, in that we seek to develop character and leadership skills in our students, we are not an exam factory.
