Job overview
You will join an energetic and innovative faculty of passionate mathematicians, using varied approaches to their teaching to nurture mathematical confidence and enthusiasm in our students.
The maths faculty of eight staff, is a well established and qualified team who enjoy working together to improve student progress.
We are committed to cultivating a love of learning in our students, and invest heavily in the development of our staff too, with subject specific CPD linked through the Maths Hub and NCTEM.
You will be a champion for this subject, with resolute determination to inspire a love of Maths across the school. We need a strong team player, who is proactive and driven to succeed.
We always seek enthusiastic and adaptable individuals with excellent professional standards and good communication skills. You will have energy, resilience, vision and enthusiasm, the ability to perform well under pressure and work in work in line with the vision of the School and Trust.
As a Teacher of Maths, Qualified Teacher Status and a first or second class degree in an area relevant to the subject is essential, with successful experience of working with children and young people in an educational setting.

The Birkenhead Park School is a co-educational secondary school for children aged 11-16 and has over 700 students on roll.
