Congleton Multi-Academy Trust (Cmat) is situated on the edge of Congleton in South East Cheshire, serving families from Congleton and parts of North Staffordshire.  It includes Congleton High School, Black Firs Primary School and Castle Primary School. Teachers are expected to contribute to projects working with schools across the trust.

Congleton Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a highly qualified and inspirational teach of MFL from September 2019. This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced MFL team and contribute to the on-going success of the Department. In summer 2018, Congleton High School achieved the strongest Progress 8 score in Cheshire and has an impressive track record of high achievement. The school has a strong Staff Development and Induction Programme and places high importance on the well-being of staff.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the full age range, and may include Key Stage 2 teaching at the primary schools within the Trust. You will have the ability to teach Spanish to A Level and a second language to GCSE. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and have an ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential. It is expected that the person appointed will demonstrate a commitment to the school’s extra-curricular activities.
