Queen Elizabeth’s is a co-educational selective academy with 570 pupils on roll, including 137 in the sixth form.  This is a friendly school community with high expectations.  We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages from January 2019 to teach French with ideally German or Spanish.  The Languages department at Queen Elizabeth’s currently comprises a subject leader, one full-time and one part time teacher.  We work to a 25 period week with 1-hour lessons.  Pupils currently learn either French, German or Spanish up to GCSE.  There are also small A level groups in French and German (with Spanish having just been introduced in Y7 and Y8).   We currently use AQA for both GCSE and A Level courses.

Queen Elizabeth's Grammar, Alford is a co-educational, selective secondary academy based in Lincolnshire, educating students aged 11-18. 

The secondary school has approximately 575 pupils on roll. It has membership of the Young Journalist Academy and has a radio station run by its students.

"Pupils' personal development is outstanding. They have exemplary attitudes to their learning. Their behaviour and attendance are excellent. They show respect for each other and have very well developed social skills. This is seen in their willingness to make a contribution to the school through the numerous opportunities to take responsibility and to organise activities. Sixth form students are very strongly involved in the rest of the school and provide impressive examples for others. There is a very strong sense of community in the school."
