Would you like to be part of a school where the strengths and talents of students and staff are extremely valued? (Ofsted February 2018)
Would you like to work in a school where the culture of being happy and safe means pupils can, and do, enjoy being at school?
(Ofsted February 2018)
Are you an outstanding teacher with the passion and motivation to inspire young people?
If so, then you will not want to miss out on this opportunity to be appointed as a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages at our high-performing College, where students make progress that is above the national average.
Why come to Latimer?
This is a fantastic school to work in: as a result of our success and popularity we are over-subscribed and have a very strong positive reputation. On interview we ask candidates for their impressions of the College and without fail they comment on how wonderful our students are, the supportive team ethos amongst staff and how friendly and welcoming the College is.
We are a tight-knit unit striving for the very best for our students and we are focused on, and passionate about, learning and success.
We genuinely care about our staff, their well-being and their professional development: we are a happy team, committed to working collaboratively and sharing the very best practice. This was very much recognised in our most recent Ofsted Inspection, where we sustained our Good rating.
As a result of our success and popularity, we are growing, hence the need for additional high-quality staff to add to our excellent teams. In particular, our Modern Foreign Languages team needs to grow. The subject is delivering outstanding outcomes and the subject is increasingly popular. If you are an outstanding Modern Foreign Languages teacher it really is worth applying for this post – we have a fantastic Modern Foreign Languages team and they are ready and waiting for a new colleague to join them!
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to teach French across all key stages. This is the only language that we currently deliver but the ability to offer an additional language would be of interest to us. They will be joining an outstanding team who have worked closely together to transform languages provision at the College. It is true to say that our students love their languages experience!
We have a strong track record of leadership development and succession planning and would be interested in an ambitious candidate who is keen to progress to leadership in the future.
