The governors of this highly successful National Teaching School are seeking to appoint a skilled, dynamic and forward-thinking Teacher of Music to join our Visual and Performing Arts Department. The successful candidate will be the sole teacher of music with responsibility for KS3 and GCSE groups in music. They will promote music across the school, liaise with our peripatetic music staff and ensure music contributes to whole-school life.
The Hollins is an oversubscribed, highly successful 11-16 school which provides a warm, caring environment; where attainment and achievement is good.

The Hollins in Accrington, Lancashire, is a co-educational secondary school for children aged 11-16. The school was designated as a National Teaching School in 2017.
In June 2016, The Hollins was recognised for 'exceptional' progress in GCSEs for the second year running.
The school’s work in developing global links, notably through a visit to China and partnership working with schools in Sri Lanka, has been recognised through the Full International Schools Award.
