Required at this 11-18, eight-form entry mixed comprehensive school from January 2019, a vacancy for a well-qualified and ambitious part-time TEACHER OF MUSIC.  

You will be working in a forward looking and supportive faculty with successful and committed staff. The Music Department recently relocated to brand new purpose-built facilities. Darrick Wood is an oversubscribed and successful 11-18 eight form entry mixed comprehensive, housed in modern buildings on an attractive site in a pleasant catchment area. The School consistently achieves excellent results, was judged to be ‘outstanding’ in its last OFSTED inspection, and was re-designated a Teaching School in 2017. In 2015 we were proud to be awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark. The School provides very good opportunities for career development and a full support programme for all new staff.
