We seek to appoint an outstanding teacher of Physical Education who is dynamic, enthusiastic and ambitious. The successful applicant will be passionate about inspiring our students and be a team player to work collaboratively with colleagues. 

Our department is well resourced and offers a wide range of courses including GCSE, A Level and BTEC Sport. We also offer an extensive extra-curricular programme. Commitment to both of these areas is essential. This post provides exciting opportunities for either an experienced teacher or an NQT. We offer a full support and induction programme for all new staff and commitment to continued professional development.

The successful applicant will be:

Qualified to deliver the PE curriculum across Key Stages 3 – 5 to the highest standard.

A well-qualified individual

An excellent communicator who is able to meet deadlines

A reflective practitioner who is willing to take an active role in the wider life of the school

A strong team player with a "can do" attitude

Passionate about the success of students, the department and the school

Tring School is popular and over-subscribed, serving the town of Tring and the surrounding villages. It is a mixed Church of England all-ability school, 1500 on roll, over 300 Post-16. Academic attainment is well above average and improving year on year. The school strives to support and encourage individual growth within a caring community. We have a talented team of staff who are ambitious to become outstanding in all areas of our work. Ofsted Inspection November 2017 stated: ‘Pupils are highly motivated to learn.' ‘Teaching is good overall with outstanding features.’
