Oaks Park High School is a very popular and oversubscribed mixed comprehensive school which is expanding the number on roll to meet community demand.  The school prides itself on being an ambitious and supportive multi-cultural community that keeps our child-centred philosophy at the heart of everything that we do. We are seeking to appoint highly effective, motivated and an enthusiastic teacher of PE to join our excellent PE department to teach across the age and ability range in this outstanding 11-18 school. The successful candidate should have an interest in developing extra-curricular sport and would be joining a supportive, committed and experienced team who work hard to deliver innovative and enjoyable lessons.  You will assist and support the Team Leader for PE in further driving standards to ensure the progress is consistent across the key stages and for courses offered by PE to remain a popular option for Key Stage 4 and 5.

The department prides itself on the wide and varied range of sports made available to the students.  This year the new Basketball Academy opened for students in Year 12 who wish to specialise in this field while gaining a qualification to enable them to pursue further study in sport.  The annual Sports Awards evening is a great showcase for all the students and the teams and sports they engage in at Oaks Park High School.
