Mount House has an outstanding opportunity for a well-qualified graduate to join an ambitious and energetic Religious Studies department in delivering the A level Philosophy & Ethics curriculum from September 2019. The ability to deliver another Humanities subject at KS3 would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will have a good honours degree in Philosophy or a related subject and have a keen interest in participating and developing the department’s extra-curricular and extension offering.
Participation in the school’s busy extra-curricular programme is expected of all teaching staff and there is considerable scope for staff to get involved in a wide range of activities.
Mount House has a salary scale based on the national scale for outer London and the financial package offered will be commensurate with the responsibilities of the post and the experience of the person appointed.
The School does not offer the TPS, but does have its own private pension scheme and school fee remission.
