The successful candidate will teach across the age and ability range in this oversubscribed co-educational academy, with over 1,400 students on roll including 290 in our 6th form.  You would be joining a supportive, committed and experienced team who work hard to deliver innovative and enjoyable lessons. In return for your hard work and commitment we offer exceptional support and training, and the rewards that come with teaching students who really want to learn.

PRE is a very popular option at both KS4 and KS5. We currently teach around 75 students at KS4 and around 55 at KS5 and our commitment to academic excellence is at the forefront of our teaching and delivery.  In 2020 100% of students sitting PRE GCSE achieved 9-4, with 17% of those students achieving grade 9.  At A level 88% of students achieved A*-C in Philosophy with 73% achieving A*-B  grades. Following on from these results, a number of students went on to study Philosophy at university.

The role is suitable for either a newly qualified teacher or an experienced practitioner. We offer:

  • a competitive salary (London Fringe Pay Scale);
  • professional development support and an extensive CPD programme;
