From October we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our PE department for two terms to cover maternity leave.
We wish to employ a strong sporting all-rounder with previous teaching experience. A specialism in netball would be advantageous as ideally you will be leading the U14 Netball Squad.
Physical Education is taught throughout the Senior School; the main sports are netball, lacrosse, tennis, athletics and swimming. We provide a wide range of activities for both participation and excellence, and regularly enjoy success at district, county, regional and national level in a range of individual and team sports. The appointed candidate will be expected to contribute fully to our extensive extra-curricular programme during school and after school on Mondays and Tuesdays and on some weekends. This position would suit an NQT or experienced teacher.
Details of the role and application process are available on the school’s website www.stahs.org.uk/Vacancies.
The High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Closing date for applications 12.00 pm Monday 25 September 2017
