We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Physics Teacher with the possibility of additional management responsibility as Head of Physics to start in September 2019. The Science Department at Doha College consists of 15 full-time teachers supported by 3 full-time science technicians. Lessons are taught in 13 purpose-built laboratories. The College follows a balanced science programme at Key Stage 3, in line with the English National Curriculum. At Key Stage 4 students take Edexcel IGCSE Separate Sciences. At A Level, students follow Edexcel Physics and Chemistry courses and CIE Biology. At all stages the College achieves excellent academic success. Experience of teaching Physics A-Level will be seen as an advantage.
All our classrooms are equipped with interactive smartboards and displays and all students are furnished with an iPad upon entry.
A high standard of written and spoken English is an essential requirement for all our positions.
