We are seeking a Teacher of Physics to join a well-attended independent school in Shropshire.
The opportunity will allow you to develop your experience with an engaging employer and focused learners. The ideal candidate will have the ability and willingness to support and develop the learning of students from KS3 up to and including A-level. Additionally, particular interest will be paid to applicants capable of supporting Oxbridge candidates. (Over 120 students at the school have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge over the last six years.) If you have the drive to contribute to such a vibrant and challenging learning environment, this opportunity may be for you.
Salary: Negotiable, above Main Scale
Contract term: Fixed Term
January 2020 to June 2020
NQT’s will be considered.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in the role and evidence of high standard teaching
• A sound knowledge and understanding of the Physics curriculum up to A-Level
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; plus very good organisational skills
• Willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities at the school and pastoral obligations
