Peripatetic Teacher of Piano
Part time, to commence September 2019
A well-qualified and enthusiastic Piano teacher is required to join a large, flourishing and dynamic department for three days’ teaching (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday/Friday) for pupils aged 6-18 from September 2019. It is expected that the successful candidate will also be available to offer some freelance accompanying for exams, concerts and auditions.
The post holder will need to schedule thirty lessons for each pupil over the course of an academic year. A flexible approach will be needed, so that the lessons do not always occur on the same day of the week.
The teacher will need to complete reports once a year and to attend the visiting music teachers’ annual parents’ evening.
