This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Politics with History to join our dynamic and high-achieving department. We are seeking a candidate with a strong passion for the subject who is self-motivated, innovative and able to deliver creative and exciting lessons to inspire our students. The post would be suitable for an experienced teacher or a graduate trainee.
It is expected that the successful applicant will be able to stretch the most able Sixth Form pupils who are en route to Oxbridge or similar destinations, whilst also being able to engage and enthuse pupils across the ability range in all Key Stages in History. The successful candidate will be expected to help enhance the delivery of Politics outside of the classroom, including assisting with the extensive range of Politics and History trips and taking responsibility for organising some of these.
