Job overview

We require for an immediate start (or as soon as possible) a qualifed teacher of Psychology to cover an absent colleague for up to one academic term (until January 2020 or thereabouts).  The ability to teach science, especially biology, would be extremely advantageous.  This position is available as a part-time post, with teaching potentially on Tuesdays, Wednesday (half days), Thursday and Friday.

This position arises due to a staff absence and offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of pupils in either or both of these two subject areas.   The delivery of parts of the A level Psychology curriculum will be especially important in this role, and there is some flexibility in terms of the timetable on offer depending on the experience and interests of the successful candidate.  The position is available on a part time, temporary basis.  Early applications for this position are welcome.

Denstone College is an equal opportunities employer with a strong commitment to the safety and welfare of children.  The successful applicant will be required to have a satisfactory enhanced DBS check, in addition to other pre-employment checks.
