We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to our School of Humanities and Social Sciences* to teach across the following courses – A Level Psychology/A Level Sociology/WJEC Criminology. Full time and part time applications will be considered. If full time, candidates must be able to teach across 2 or more of the above subjects. If part time, candidates must be able to teach across 1 or more of the above subjects.
The successful candidate(s) will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 range. With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.
*The School includes the following subjects: A Level Geography, Geology, Government & Politics, History,
Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and WJEC Criminology
New College Doncaster opened in September with over 450 Year 12 students and will grow to over 1000 students by September 2018. This is an exciting new venture, creating a sister college to the well-established New College Pontefract, rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, replicating its ethos, values and practices. The two colleges work closely, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression.
