Loreto St Albans is a Catholic, 11-18 girls’ Academy. The OFSTED report of May 2013 recognised the school as outstanding in all areas and the most recent Diocesan report was equally pleasing. The school is over-subscribed and has earned an excellent reputation for discipline, pastoral care and academic standards.
For September 2019, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Religious Education. The successful candidate will have a passion for the subject and will join a well-established and successful department. All members of the Religious Education Department play a role in developing the spiritual and liturgical life of the school. The ability to offer another subject could be a significant advantage.
The successful candidate will be required to teach across the whole ability and age range, including GCSE and A Level.
Applications are welcomed from N.Q.Ts and more experienced teachers. The school has a strong track record in professional development and excellent opportunities for career progression will be available.
Our school is committed to the safeguarding of children so all appointments are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
