King David High School is a Jewish faith based school located in South Liverpool and serving the needs of the Jewish and wider community. The last OfSTED Report judged the school to be outstanding overall and outstanding at Sixth Form. The school continues to enjoy an excellent academic reputation with examination results significantly above the national average.
The governors wish to invite applications from suitably qualified graduates with the ability and ambition to drive improvement in this curriculum area and become part of a strong and dedicated team. The Religious Education Department is very successful across all Key Stages and attracts a strong cohort in the Sixth Form. The successful candidate must have a good honours degree, be able to teach to Advanced Level and have the ability to teach another Humanities/Music subject, ideally one of Film Studies, Geography, Music or Jewish Studies.
