Trinity Catholic High School seeks to appoint a talented and dynamic temporary Teacher of Religious Studies to work within our hugely successful Religious Education Department. We have an excellent Catholic Ethos with a strong leadership team. The temporary Teacher of Religious Education teacher position is available from January 2019. The ability to teach across all key stages 3, 4 and 5 will be an advantage. You must be a practising Catholic.
Students currently follow the Edexcel syllabus at GCSE and OCR at A level. The Religious Education department achieves outstanding results across Key stage three, G.C.S.E. and A. Level. Religious Education G.C.S.E. is a core subject and all students are entered for the G.C.S.E. Students are taught in mixed ability classes throughout the key stages.

The percentage of students at 5+ in English and Mathematics is 65% and well above the national figure of 39%. 81% of our students attained the standard pass in both English and mathematics and 52 grade 9s were awarded across these two subjects.
- Judged as outstanding in both the December 2014 section 48 inspection and then again, for the fifth time in succession, as outstanding by OFSTED in March 2015.
