Would you like to be part of our highly successful and forward looking Philosophy, Religion and Ethics/Citizenship faculty with its track record of outstanding teaching and learning?

We are looking for a well-qualified religious studies specialist with a commitment to continuing professional development to join the Philosophy, Religion and Ethics/Citizenship team.

The successful candidate will be required to teach religious studies up to and including A Level.  The A level syllabus consists of units on the philosophy of religion, the development of Christian thought and religious ethics.  A knowledge of Islam to G.C.S.E. would also be an advantage.

The faculty has a strong team ethos and is well resourced and highly organised.  Staff are based in rooms adjacent to each other in the Old School Quad, each one having an interactive whiteboard and projector.

Career entry teachers have a 10% reduction in their timetable and a subject mentor.  They also participate in a comprehensive induction programme led by an Assistant Headteacher and supported by the Bridge Academy Trust.
