Our school is at an exciting stage of development, having just opened phase one of our new buildings, housing a contemporary new Sixth Form facility, Student Café and number of well-equipped classrooms. Phase 2 will be opening in September 2018 to include a bespoke Drama studio and theatre.  The community provides a purposeful learning environment for both students and staff, stressing the importance of creativity, independence, celebration and empathy. Staff and students enjoy positive working relationships, making it a happy and inspiring place to work. 

This post offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher within an innovative and successful faculty team. Religious Studies is one of our strongest performing subjects. In 2017 we achieved 82% A*-B at A Level and at GCSE 81% A*-C with 43% A*-A. Our students are hardworking and have a really positive attitude to learning. Our students thrive in a culture of achievement and success; we have high expectations, encouraging our students to be aspirational with their learning and to enjoy all aspects of school life.    

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional who will benefit from a bespoke programme of professional development and mentoring, supporting you to continue refining and honing your pedagogical skills.  The ideal candidate will be able to teach KS3 and KS4 Religious Studies with some experience of either Philosophy or Ethics at Religious Studies A-Level. A successful NQT would be invited to join us from July 1st and would in return be paid for August.
