Required for September 2019, a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to teach RS through to GCSE (EdExcel Spec B) and A-Level in this lively, high-achieving, multi-cultural girls’ selective school. The ability to support the delivery of a second subject to KS3 would be advantageous. 

Religious Studies is a core subject through Key Stages 3 and 4 and plays an important role in developing the critical thinking skills of our students. The subject is offered as an option at GCSE and at A-Level and contributes to the enrichment programme in the Sixth Form. The department makes an important contribution to the delivery of SMSC at Woodford.

This school, described by OFSTED as ‘outstanding’ (March 2009) and identified by the Sunday Times as “London State Secondary School of the Year (2019)”, encourages a wide range of extra-curricular activities. It provides a friendly working environment and offers established programmes of teacher induction and CPD.
