Job overview
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and inspirational Science teachers from April or September 2018, who is passionate about raising standards and life chances of young people. For the right candidate an additional R&R allowance is available
This is an ideal and exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher, who together with a passion for their subject will have the drive, energy and enthusiasm to work with the existing teams to build on the strong progress already made in the department and wider STEM faculty.
You will work alongside the other staff within the department and wider STEM faculty to develop the curriculum, schemes of learning and excellent pedagogical practice. The science department is a strong team, well supported by a great technical team. It is well resourced with good outcomes in triple and double aware science.
Cove School is an 11-16 school and has approximately 1,000 pupils on roll. It is an exceptionally exciting time to be at Cove and a great place for ambitious individuals to develop their career further. All staff benefit from excellent professional development opportunities including working parties, coaching and external training.
There is onsite parking available and we are within walking distance of Farnborough train station.

Cove School is a larger than average 11-16 secondary co-educational establishment, located in the north of Hampshire. We are a local authority school within easy commute of London, the historic city of Winchester and the beautiful scenery of the New Forest.
