We wish to appoint a dynamic and forward looking Science teacher to this successful Science department. We will consider applications from candidates across each of the science disciplines; however we are keen to secure an experienced Chemist to balance the knowledge base in the team. Candidates with salary expectations at the upper end of the range will need to evidence in their application and at interview how that might be merited, and how whole school requirements for upper threshold pay range will be met. Applicants must meet the criteria outlined.
For Easter 2018 we require:
• An excellent classroom practitioner
• Experience of teaching across the 11 – 16 range with evidence of the ability to teach A level
• Candidates who can demonstrate positive impact on learning and achievement in present post
• Candidates who can evidence positive contribution to a team
• Evidence of securing positive outcomes for students
In addition to teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics to KS4, the successful candidate will ideally be able to teach their science specialism at KS5. There is an expectation that you may teach other subjects as directed in order to facilitate the delivery of the curriculum should this be required. Relevant support will be offered.
