Regent's International School, Bangkok is one of the leading British International Schools in Thailand. We are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and are members of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA). We are also a proud member of the Round Square organisation of schools.

Due to our expanding student roll - and subsequent need to expand our Science team! - we are pleased to be accepting applications from teachers of Science who are qualified and experienced in teaching the UK curriculum at KS3, GCSE, the IB Diploma Programme and / or A level to join us for the new academic year starting in August 2024. Applications from Physicists or Biologists are particularly welcome.

The successful candidate will join a high performing team of specialists who enable students to both achieve well in Science and engender a love and appreciation for the subject and it's place in society.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate both a high level of subject knowledge but also be committed to the wider advancement and development of Science and STEM subjects as a whole as well as the wider, holistic development of our wonderful students.

What we are really looking for is - very simply - a fabulous teacher of Science who believes in our school vision and mission and wants to bring out the best in everyone. Someone who will help inspire a passionate, life-long love of science across our student body and empower all our students and staff to take their learning and understanding of the world in which we live to heights they have not dreamed possible.

This post is only suitable for colleagues with Full UK QTS or equivalent.

About Regent's International School, Bangkok

Regent's International School, Bangkok is a well-known and highly regarded international school based in the Thai capital, Bangkok. Founded by prominent educator and leader, Dr. Virachai Techavijit in the 1990's, Regent's has become one of the most popular schools in the region and is rooted in its Thai and British heritage as well as international philosophy.

As the first boarding school in Bangkok, we're proud of the excellent provision we provide for students who come to us from a number of countries. All staff are expected to play a role in the wider life of the school, including supporting boarders' activities.

The school delivers a locally appropriate adjusted version of the British Curriculum with students taking International GCSEs at the age of 16 before most participate in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) from 16 to 18. There are around 770 students across the school. The school enjoys well-maintained facilities which are purpose built.

  • Developing Leadership at all levels across the school strategically, operationally and as a community attribute
  • Reinvigorating our enrichment offer, trips and visits and our Round Square work in a post-pandemic world
