This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving department committed to high achievement. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding teacher, with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire pupils in all age groups.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated general science teacher to join an established, friendly and highly successful department. Examination results are excellent and applicants will need to demonstrate:
· excellent subject knowledge
· the ability to work as part of a team
· a talent for motivating and enthusing young learners to achieve their best
· excellent planning and preparation skills
· the ability to problem-solve and manage classroom behaviour effectively
· resilience under pressure
· excellent written and verbal communication skills
The post is suitable for experienced teachers as well as those new to the profession.
The successful candidate will be capable of teaching combined Science to Years 7, 8 and 9, with the ability to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics to GCSE. Experience of IGCSE is an advantage.
A willingness to become fully involved in school life would be expected, contributing to extra-curricular activities and supporting whole school initiatives,
