We are committed to continuous professional development and have wide-ranging training and development opportunities. We are also mindful of the competing demands people face in their lives so are happy to consider part-time applications.
We have a large, thriving science department, with a deeply committed and supportive group of teachers and technicians working in excellent facilities. Our students make excellent progress – GCSE results are significantly above the national average and around 70% of students in the sixth form take science courses.
You will be a key member of the department, instilling a passion for science, and committed to the learning of all students across all key stages, regardless of their background, needs or prior attainment. You should be able to teach up to GCSE and A level physics.
