Our Science Department offers pupils a range of subjects to help prepare them for life after education. As a Teacher of Science at our academy, you will engage and enthuse learners through a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning, sharing our ethos that all children can succeed. You must be dedicated, organised and totally committed to driving standards and raising achievement. 

Teachers of any specialism are encouraged to apply.

The new Stanground Academy opened on 1 April 2012 and is one of the Greenwood Academies Trust’s Group of Academies, replacing the predecessor Stanground College. The Academy has since undergone a £24M building project and now boasts state of the art” buildings providing academic, vocational and sports facilities for pupils and staff.  These include fully-equipped specialist rooms, extensive sports facilities, a dance studio, a theatre and high tech ICT equipment.
