Teacher of Science
Opportunity to develop STEM offering + TLR for suitable candidate
Start: January 2018
Portslade Aldridge Community Academy are seeking an exceptional teacher of Science who can not only inspire students in the classroom but who also has a passion for igniting a life-long love of Science.
The opportunity to lead on organising whole school STEM events and offerings could exist for a teacher looking for their first whole school and community responsibility. PACA has previously won national and regional awards for STEM as well as hosting visits for astronauts and other STEM leaders in their field.
Whether you’re a teacher who wants to develop their leadership experience without moving away from the subject for which you have passion, or you want to teach in an innovative environment, focusing on delivering exciting lessons across the 11-18 age range, PACA could be just the school you are looking for.
Portslade Aldridge Community Academy is an 11-18 state funded Academy that is growing rapidly and has recently been recognised by Ofsted as ‘good’.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
