Mossbourne Fobbing Academy is a school with a rich history of excellent academic, artistic, and sporting achievements.  Today, that legacy of excellence lives on through our wonderfully talented students and terrifically dedicated staff.

Our students capitalise on a fantastic range of facilities that encourage them to nurture and pursue their passions in sports and the arts.  While our range of extra-curricular activities, including the Combined Cadets Force and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, offer experiences that broaden horizons and enrich lives.

The Mossbourne Federation is a thriving network of Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form academies providing the children of Hackney and Thurrock with an outstanding education from Early Years to Post-16. We deliver the highest quality of teaching & learning across a broad curriculum, underpinned by high expectations of every student and by our Federation values of: Excellence, No Excuses and Unity. The Mossbourne Ethos

The Mossbourne Federation is the realisation of Sir Clive Bourne’s dream to provide the children of Hackney with an outstanding education. Since 2004, the Federation has nurtured Sir Clive’s dream by fostering kind, courteous, hard-working, and well-rounded learners by providing an outstanding education based on the core values of ‘Excellence’, ‘No Excuses’ and ‘Unity’. We are delighted that on 1stJanuary 2025, Mossbourne has expended to include three new academies in Thurrock Essex.
