We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Social Studies. The position will involve teaching Health and Social Care at Key Stage 4 and 5 and the willingness to teach Sociology and/or Psychology at A level would be an advantage. The post provides an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic NQTs committed to becoming excellent teachers or colleagues seeking to further their experience in an 11-18 school or an experienced teacher seeking to develop their career in a comprehensive environment.
Overton Grange is a popular comprehensive school, with around 1300 students on roll and has enjoyed consistent academic success; rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2016. We have recently started working in partnership with the University of Brighton Academies Trust. The school is fully committed to inclusion and has a Hearing Support Department.
