A Teacher of Sociology/Psychology is required to provide maternity cover.  The post is temporary and will run up to the end of the academic year.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic, innovative and inspirational teacher of Sociology who is capable of teaching to a high standard in both KS4 and KS5.   The ability to teach Psychology to KS5 would be an advantage. 

 Applicants will be talented, ambitious and enthusiastic and be able to inspire high quality teaching and learning and should be determined to achieve the best for the students that they teach.  Sociology is taught at KS4 and both subjects are a popular option for ‘A’ Level.  

The department is well resourced with excellent ICT facilities and achieves very good results.
