This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher of Technology to join a school internationally acclaimed for the quality of its innovative practice. Applications from candidates with experience in Product Design are welcomed.
We wish to appoint a highly motivated, ambitious and dynamic individual to join our creative, hard working and growing Technologies faculty. The combination of Design Technology, Food, Art and Computer Science provides our learners with an unique and broadly developing curriculum.
The faculty is well resourced having recently updated their CAD CAM equipment with the addition of new 3D printers and a laser cutter. ICT provision, especially with regard to the employment of hand-held devices for both learners and staff, is particularly impressive. This provides a fantastic opportunity to develop creative and innovative projects that cover a wide variety of skills and techniques.
The successful applicant will be an excellent classroom practitioner and collaborator. This is a full time, permanent position and would be suitable for an NQT.

Matthew Moss High School is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, community secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Rochdale, Lancashire, and there are 780 pupils on its roll.
The school boasts excellent facilities, including a 4D Learning Environment (the largest in the UK), a 3G astroturf pitch and a state-of-the-art Bouldering Room. All new pupils are allocated a tutor group, where they will be among peers from different year groups. The school believes this mix of ages helps children to integrate and to build confidence.
