Due to a pending review of the Key Stage 4 curriculum we have an exciting new opportunity for a temporary role which could possibly be extended following the review. The governors of this highly successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Voluntary Aided RC High School are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Design and Technology with the ability to teach Art desirable.  The successful candidate will teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4 but an ability to specialise in  systems/electronics would be advantageous. As a Catholic Christian community, we offer a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to engage with wonderful students who have high expectations for themselves and espouse a culture of hard work coupled with a zest for learning (Ofsted 2015). The successful applicant would join a high achieving and popular department with experienced and highly effective teachers. The school has a very successful and effective induction programme for new colleagues and applications are welcome from both NQTs as well as more experienced teachers.  You would be joining a strong, hard-working team which is committed to achieving excellence and in which a creative approach to teaching and learning is strongly encouraged.
