The City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College is a thriving, lively and successful Sixth Form College, committed to social inclusion. The College is located in an award-winning, state of the art building at the heart of the University Quarter of Stoke on Trent, adjacent to Stoke Railway Station, providing excellent travel links. In September 2017, the College achieved academy status as part of the Potteries Educational Trust. Teacher of Theatre
(Part time 0.75fte, Temporary, Maternity Cover)
The college is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic teacher to teach Theatre and Musical Theatre to cover maternity leave from September 2018. The Performing Arts department offers a range of courses at A Level and BTEC. The subject area has a track record of excellent results, and a large number of students progress on to positive destinations. This is an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join a passionate and dedicated team.
Salary will be paid according to the National Sixth Form College’s Salary Spine for Teachers
(£22,937 – £38,364 per annum).
